Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mid-Level Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming manual test scripts into automated tests, ensuring thorough coverage and improving the overall quality of our code. Your work will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our web applications.


Key Responsibilities
  • Test Automation: Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts based on existing manual test cases.

  • Framework Development: Design and implement robust automation frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with manual testers to understand test cases and with developers to integrate automated tests into the development pipeline. As well as product, development, and design teams to understand features, intended functionality, and original requirements.

  • Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and report bugs discovered through automated testing.

  • Test Coverage: Ensure comprehensive test coverage for all features and functionalities of the web application.

  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve and optimize manual and automated testing processes and frameworks.

  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of automated test scripts, frameworks, and testing processes.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field,or equivalent practical experience.

Experience:

  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate and collaborate with US counterparts.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in test automation.

  • Proven experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).

Skills:

  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript or Python

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
